Will they be the main threat next season to us?
I worry as we always seem to lose against them.

Sad news about the elderly guy in a critical condition, hope he pulls through. You have to question what the Merseyside police were doing though whilst this went on, right outside the ground.

Everyone knows of Italian Ultras.
I'm presuming (hopefully), that Merseyside Police had officers on each street around that ground.
Now which Copper worth his salt, is not going to notice that menacing looking mob, all clad in similar clothing, some masked up and It appears, tooled up with hammers and the like.
It beggars belief, that they got anywhere near the ground unquestioned and searched, never mind making it to the turnstiles at The Kop.
Through social media, the Police and council have just allowed mob rule. With I would say, most of them being Liverpool football fans, they have been absolutely complicit in the events of both CL games.
These games haven't been policed, and that poor bloke in hospital is now the result.
Never mind UEFA investigating, this government should send somebody over there and find out who was in charge of this farce

Just saw this on the BBC website on Liverpool fans

"A number of those in the crowd that had gathered to greet the Liverpool team coach were in possession of flares....."

Yeah, course they were there to see the Liverpool team coach and wish their own team luck.

Exactly. You'd think the Merseyside Police would of escorted the away fans from Lime Street up to Anfield. They've been a shambles in the QF and now the Semi.
Hopefully that lad pulls through.

To busy enjoying the ‘Liverpool welcome’ no doubt and letting all those scousers climb on their vans to enjoy it.

It’s sad for the guy and hope he pulls through, but there is an element of you reap what you sow. Roma fans will have seen what happened to city and thought we ain’t letting that happen to us without a fight.

Exactly. The continued failure of club and constabulary to properly police the surrounding areas and the blind eye turned by the authorities has facilitated this.
You know what to expect with Ultras and you should act accordingly to prevent where possible.
Hope the man in question recovers.

They yet to step foot into the lions den. Roma know they can turn this around, they’ve done it against Barcelona! Now that will be an atmosphere. I wouldn’t fancy being a dipper over there.

No definitely not, that will be incredibly hostile and make anfield look like a teddy bears picnic.

The fans are deluded pricks but I think some of the comments on here about their team our coming across as bitter
We are an amazing team and they have beaten us 3 times this year, they have also turned up big time last night
If we had fought and worked as hard as they have in those games we would be very proud of our side

The last 10 mins showed why they won’t the win the league anytime soon, the hoof the ball and are fucked after 80 mins they can’t close a game out by retaining the ball, they can only attack, great in a cup but not over a long sustained campaign

Hasnt he got to win back to back Premier League titles and Champions League trophy to be considered really really good.
Allegedly not. I'm not playing down the season he's had, but best in the world...?

We were undone by few bad decisions across both legs but yes when you see what Roma did to Barca though they were bad,you see Juve going down late,I felt we could have tried hard.
Yes a goal disallowed and Bernardo hitting post,we could have been 3-0 up at HT on any other day had we been lucky.

But I seriously hope them dippers don't win so that we are spared from media's bullshit and ofc their fans bullshit for years to come

Roma Have to keep it tight for the first half at least(maybe grab an early goal). Liverpool have a tendency to tire as they run themselves into the ground with their pressing and become vulnerable has been the same since Klopp took the job, Salah on the pitch or no Salah.
But it's a double edged sword as in order to tire them out you have to keep possession and have them press you which is them at their most dangerous.
