Fabinho, Lemar and Fekir, is it?

Liverpool’s record of shopping in Ligue 1 has not been great down the years:

Divock Origi
Mamadou Sakho
David N’Gog
Charles Itandje
Damien Plessis
Nabil El Zhar
Djibril Cissé
Florent Sinama-Pongolle
Carl Medjani
El-Hadji Diouf
Salif Diao
Bruno Cheyrou
Anthony Le Tallec
Patrice Luzi
John Arne Riise
Bernard Diomede
Gregory Vignal
Vladimir Smicer
Titi Camara
Djimi Traore

I make that one decent signing in 20 years

go on - giz a clue - which one did you rate?

off topic but its 33yrs today they killed 39 juve fans at heysel

There's a couple of good articles today about the forgotten 39. This is what is so detestable about this scummy club. Banging on about the 96 but the 39 hardly get a mention on the anniversary. Credit to Rushy though for his tribute today.

Hmmmm, what exactly have Liverpool achieved?

They have achieved to unite almost the whole UK match going fans of other clubs against them. They would rather support a preening Ronaldo led Real than a British club. A new generation are also, for the first time, seeing them for the vile, deluded violent cultist scum that they are.

Oh dear - on the back of the Daily Mirror tomorrow Salah exonerates Ramos and says it was an accident. All that wasted hate and anger - how will they get over it??

By the end of summer they’ll have broken the record for highest priced CB, DM, and goalie in the last 7 months, correct?

My 13 yo quite independently wanted to see them beaten. He said that he didn’t understand that they seem to be regarded as ‘great’ when they never seemed to achieve anything. Plus he couldn’t understand the violence aimed at the City team coach. I couldn’t argue with his reasoning.

The cult memorality is spot on. Extremely self righteous and violent to go with it. They use violence and intimidation and call it atmosphere then when another team set of fans sees that as an invite to return fire the start lighting the candles.

They sold Coutinho for about £150 million in Jan but spent that on VVD and Keita, Cann’s going for nothing and they are now buying Fabinho, they need another CH and GK so that the net spend trophy gone already.
They still have to money and will get a good lump for reaching the CL final. Unless they offload 1 or 2 they'll only be able to get one or the other.
