Just reading that UEFA have fined Besiktas 34,000 Euro because a cat got on the pitch in a CL match - yep the same UEFA that fined the dippers 20,000 Euro for the bus attack !!!
Can't see exactly how many flares and missiles the cat was carrying or threw.
Not strictly true.

From the away leg:
Charges against Liverpool FC:
- Setting off of fireworks - Article 16 (2) of the UEFA Disciplinary Regulations (DR)
- Throwing of objects - Art. 16 (2) DR
- Acts of damage - Art. 16 (2) DR
- Crowd disturbances - Art. 16 (2) DR
Decision: The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Body has decided to fine Liverpool FC €20,000.
Let's get this right - the fine was for all the four charges above not for just one. Given that they were fined €6,000 for setting off fireworks and throwing objects at Klanfield they were fined just €14,000 for acts of damage and crowd disturbances. Contrast this to Roma who were just charged with crowd disturbances at Klanfield. There punishment was a paltry €14,000 as it was for Liverpool which was for two charges. Roma were fined €50,000 and banned from 'selling tickets to its supporters for the next two UEFA competition matches which the club will play as the visiting team. The second match in which the Italian club will serve the ban from selling tickets is deferred under a probationary period of two (2) years'. Can someone explain the huge difference?
