There should be a boycott of the away matches at Manchester City. If there is anything left of this sport, then supporters should make a stand. I know this is probably impossible in todays football world, but it really should. Like Dortmund and their protest of Leipzig, there should be statement against the owners of Manchester City. We, Liverpool fans, in solidarity of the workers and the people of UAE, should take a stand. Should we really give our money to these fuckers?

so much joy today knowing manchester city are champions of england again and by one point and we got our own back on them from 1978 when they did us by one point

we bow down to nobody anymore and this manchester city team and squad are the best and the bench mark ?? and catch us if you can ?? remember we played most of the season without KDB and a left back and also fernandinho was in and out ??? so good luck to anybody wanting a face to face fight next season

liverpool was only in the race because of the officials giving them so many soft pens with salah diving and dodgy keeping by 3 or 4 teams and they still come up short ????

true hahahahaha

its been a shocker watching the premier league and liverpool games and the officials bending over backwards to help then you watch the man city games and the officials are not giving city nothing ?? my big case is sterling how many times has he been smashed in the league and got nothing ?? even the leicester city when mike dean was not giving city not even the throw ins he was shocking and wonder why city have had to win the league the hard way and its way its so sweet

Forget the other instances: how many times did Robertson alone smash Raheem with nary an eye brow raised by the officials?

We are single handedly destroying their competition.
The pain is strong in RAWK. Bwahaha. Bwahaha.

Some fans would probably say I am just bitter as a Liverpool fan when I write this. They are free to do that, but it does not make this less true. We need to address this. The elephant in the room. And that is that a team, backed by money from a country with slavery, racism and terrible human rights records, have just one the league, and they are using this as a propaganda machine.

Let me make this clear. Almost no team in the world is on the high ground here. I am just writing this here to maybe get some focus on this again. It sickens me all the praise this team is getting, without even problematize how the club has become what it is.

The owners of Manchester City have built up their riches on the back of exploitation of migrant workers, that has a structural racism backed into it. Addition to that, the United Arabs Emirates is being criticized regularly for their unfair trails, lack of freedom of expression, torture, and discrimination against women.

One example of this, is for example the trafficking of children as used for jockeys. I first read about this in an article by Nicholas McGeehan (http://www.josimar.no/artikler/the-men-behind-manchester-city-the-dark-side/5040/) in which he writes about the leisure activity of the royal family behind Manchester City. Camel racing, with children as jockeys. As he writes:

“Children who spoke to Anti-Slavery International said that they were underfed to keep their weight down, forced to work long hours with either minimal or no pay, and beaten. UNICEF reported that some children were also sexually abused. Save the Children described harrowing stories of children stung by scorpions while they tried to sleep, children bitten in the face by camels as they posed for photos with victorious sheikhs, children given electric shocks for stealing dates intended for the camels, and child jockeys trampled and left untreated in the backs of vans. “


This year, we have seen something fantastic, and that is players speaking up against racism in football. I really hope that this continues, and that we start addressing other issues here as well.

For me, owners like the owners of Manchester City should not be allowed to buy a club that is loved by so many, and then use it as a propaganda machine. They should be thrown out of this sport. Football was and is the escape for many workers from their daily life, and to enjoy something beautiful. Our joy however should not be built on the exploitation of other workers, and other horrible acts of human rights violation.

But are we doing anything? No. We are just all saying that this is something we can’t do anything about. We pay the tickets and we praise the football and turn the blind eye towards the uncomfortable.

It’s fecking sickening.
 
Lest we forget, Klopp courted the media for long time on how both he and the club wouldn't entertain spending
the likes of £40/£45 million on any player as its not the way he would manage a club or LFC would run a club.

Manchester City spend £40 or £50 million on a player. BOOM....... its not going to happen, Not while I am here.

Fast track few months down the line, £70m+ on VVD and £60m+ on Allyson.

Klopp tried to wriggle out of his previous remarks in a press conference but you could see how rattled he was.

Now all we hear is liverpool fans moaning on how much money we have spent, same as United fans previously.

As he goes to Primark to pick up his summer wardrobe and supports a club that freely accepts vast amounts of money from SA, UAE, and China, whilst ignoring the horrible things our government has done and is doing abroad in the name of security and economic prosperity.

The Premier League should only allow teams beginning and ending in L to win the title.
The credibility of the product is only enhanced by blatant diving and a manager inflaming every situation he can.
A concern for me, and what has been very conveniently swept under the carpet, are the actions of Sean Morrison - this is possibly a new dimension where a player could be seen as bringing the game into disrepute by undermining the very integrity of results if found to be the case. I'm sure the FA have spoken to him and everything is tickety-boo.

All the racism, slavery and human rights are fine. It's buying a football team that is the real crime (I know we aren't owned by a country :)
