I think he’s better than Van Dijk and got a lot more potential in his career. If Laporte played for Liverpool he would be pfa player of the year, instead he can cry himself to sleep with his two premier league trophies. More than any other Liverpool player has achieved domestically since 1989. Fuck even Adam Johnson has achieved more and he’s been in jail for the last 3 years.

Dont know if anyone mentioned it, but i was at the bar when Brighton scored and they had the Liverpool game on behind the bar with no sound and the camera panned around Anfield and one wagg in the Kop wearing a Brighton shirt and kissing the badge.... Then the camera zooms in on King Kenny! Smiling and texting away - i then switch back to the City screen as my pint us being pulled and Aguero puts it in the back of the net..... Beautiful

Their forum gets about 40 posts per page - so there are 1000s of posts on just this thread - that just screams out what utter twats they are - you would likely not find not find a single respectful one - and if you did you would be able to count them on one hand

I love drinking in their bitterness and misery. I do not like that I say that - I would like to think that I am a better person than that - but read this shit and you get to appreciate why their self-entitled fanbase are not worth of anything other than utter contempt

Everton have a big money backer now in Moshiri and have done for the past couple of seasons or so. They've just been struggling to get a winning formula - not too dissimilar to us in the early years after the takeover - but the signs are that things are starting to gel under the current manager. Rumours that Moshiri's mate Usmanov might be getting on board too so plenty of potential for them to break into the top 6 or better in the near future.

Failling to realise that it's the fucking media talking about Liverpool coming 2nd, in order to feed THEM, whilst THEY lap it up & it's just adding to how much the rest of the country fucking hates them, specifically because of that sort of fucking shite & how they react to it.

They wonder why nobody wanted them to win, it's right there in front of them & still they don't get it.

Now, barring a few London rivals, most of the country will be supporting Spurs for a day.

We all know the high you get from winning the prem, and how that peak of satisfaction makes it so tough to remotivate yourselves for a consecutive year...
I'm wondering if all of the pandering pats on the back and 'fantastic, job well done, might as well have been winners too' moral achievement plaudits are going to have the same impact on Liverpool?
That they rest on their laurels thinking that they are now 'there' - whereas we also know that this celebration can only last for a very short while before the relentless work must begin again at the same or greater level.

They talk about a bloodstained franchise in the top flight.... Have they so quickly forgotten Hysel where they literally got away with murder?

And as for Frankenstein's monster, that's what the fans have become - their attitude (from recent memory) and attacks on City and Barcalona is testimony to that. Bottles through windows, anti-social behavior, as well as their continued threats to attack a team bus, begging other teams to 'do them a favor' - not only in the game, but to disrupt teams pre-match... It all adds up to show them as a marauding monster, created from their own self appointed hype and privilege that is out of control, and about as far away from the spirit of football as those notorious fans from the 80's.

Not all of them, i hope. But like any minority, the main group, as well as the team and its management, need to distance themselves from the sort of behavior that (should have) fell out of fashion 40 years ago.

But OC it just gets labelled as 'banter.'

While the rest of us know that what it really is is cheating.

And never forget the offside of Origi in the final minutes of that game, fortunately he missed or the outcome of the season would likely be hugely different.

I remember watching MOTD that night, barely mentioned the above incident other than the pity that he hadn’t scored.

They might get away with some dives next season but the offsides will hurt them. Loads of their goals come from great crosses with attackers on the shoulders of defenders - I predict a lot of heartbreak from VAR reviews for them..
