Great manager though he was, winning the European and FA Cups, as well as league cups is part of what made him the manager / legend he was, over and above the domestic title. Am i right in thinking Cloughy won the European Cup more times than he won the league?

With Forest, yes, but he also won the First Division with Derby.

So two league titles and two European Cups.

I think he would have taken the over the European Cup.

And he never won the FA Cup.

We don’t need the scousers to lose games at all (although it would be better) but say they drew their next three league games for instance,of course we would really need to win ours buts it’s all hypothetical,but a few draws can even throw a spanner in the works,hopefully starting at West Ham Monday night,depending on which hammers team turns up ...

So just to double check, you’re saying it helps City every time they get less than maximum points from a game, especially if we win our games?

Gomez will have surgery, no return date yet.

I think they were originally aiming for mid Feb for Gomez.
So, you would assume if it's surgery this week, then a couple of weeks healing before he can start training again.
Early to mid-March at best you would think.
However, only one game per week, as they bummed out of trying to win any of the cups, so they shouldn't miss him.
