Think we had a discussion about the coat in question at the time of the original incident. I think the comparisons were between the Nigel Farage look as opposed to the Arthur Daley look iirc, and in the end we decided we'd much rather buy a second hand car off Arthur Daley than buy one off Nigel Farage any day of the week.
 
The majority of my family that are mainly Spurs, Arsenal and random teams fans (Watford, Leyton Orient, West Ham) don't want us to win it if their team doesn't. My other half doesn't want us to win it and thats from a person who supports Reading.

Its probably me. I bring out the worst in people.


Beyond being somewhat annoying it doesn't really matter that the opposition fans don't want us to win, but it's a problem if the opposition players do. If that happens we end up being seen as a "prize", a notable scalp. I get a sense that most players would much rather City won the league. Just a feeling though, interested to see if others think the same.

Some of our fan base are jumping the shark.

Get a grip of yourselves. Feel embarrassed for some of you.

Fuck everyone else. Fuck feeling sorry for ourselves. We stand tall and go again next Saturday. We’ve got a manager and team I’m proud to follow.

You know why everyone is so petrified?

They know how magnificent we are. What it’d be like if we won it, the full splendor of a true European giant winning the league - how we’d suit it. They are petrified.

Fuck them. Shoulders back. Players will be back. All the moaning and crying on here and elsewhere doesn’t change the fact we have a chance this season.

Seeing some people react online after disappointing results begs the question whether some people within this fanbase have ever actually had a second of joy watching Liverpool. It's fucking remarkable.

People knew early in the season we could realistically get 90 points and not win it. There's as much possibility as that happening as there is us winning it, and yet some people still can't grasp it. There's unfortunately a great deal of shithouses within the fanbase of the club.


Just been on rawk for a laugh, this is a few nuggets from there.

Sound decision, given you’d have initially paid nothing for the car before finding it gone from the garage the next morning with an invoice for a billion pounds in its place.

the officials are shocking and its like watching 2 different sports when city play to liverpool playing, clearly city never get that much luck and salah vs sterling well sterling has to break a leg and salah break wind to win a pen, and don't get me started on 50/50 tackles or free kicks ?? but tonight the 2 non off sides liverpool got clearly unsettles me, they was a good yard and half offside not even close and each time the lineman clearly see them and plays on....

am still not hanging out my flags and singing from the hill tops we are still 3 points behind and going to everton will be very hard so lets keep our feet on the ground knowing the officials are still in the liverpool corner and salah will slip and dive to win ?? forget being fair and honest they will want everything from now on in games and doing it any way possible they don't care and will sleep like a baby knowing cheating is ok
