The BBC & Sky reports are so similar I reckon they're just using the Liverpool PR team's press release.
Why use a press release when you can just make stuff up ;-)Hmm, they clearly steer clear of our press releases when reporting on us
On the positive side, that reported profit is nearly exactly the book profit on Coutinho (bar add ons), not likely to reach the CL final this year either, their next report is going to be grim reading for their fans.Yes Ive seen that, but nothing about wages
Nah after this years title fuck up salad will be off loaded !On the positive side, that reported profit is nearly exactly the book profit on Coutinho (bar add ons), not likely to reach the CL final this year either, their next report is going to be grim reading for their fans.
It wouldn’t surprise me tbh, the “racial abuse” he receives for being a muslim would make me reconsider staying in England if I was him.Nah after this years title fuck up salad will be off loaded !
That would be next season on the books though, as it is, they're on course for a loss (-£105m profit on transfers, +£35m or so in amortization, +£wages for their summer signings, possibly -£around half their CL money), which they'll have to make back over the following 2 years for FFPR.Nah after this years title fuck up salad will be off loaded !

This is the problem with the 3 year rolling period for FFPR, make a big net profit on transfers in one year and you can take the piss for the next 2 years, but come the third year you're in trouble.
They will, hence the figure of £35m, which is probably a bit conservative on my part.Presumably they're not daft enough to load the full cost of the transfers onto a single set of accounts. They'll amortise those.
