Let’s face it, every season at the moment you’re like having an odds on favourite in the Grand National. Should win it every year at a canter.


We’ve run our course this season, have to give Bayern everything now and hope for a miracle there! Lose at Bayern and I’ll come more disillusioned than I have in recent weeks. Was at the gym for the first Bayern Leg. Other priorities taking over.


I always said, as my posts here will back up that I didn’t get sucked into the hype this season and I fee lucky I didn’t. Had we been top with 4 to go, given the fixtures, then I’d have believed. That was my marker.


As for the neutrals saying they wanted you lot over us this season and hating on us creating a battle and being top, they’ve actually witnessed a semi title challenge this season! So I don’t want to hear a peep, not one single peep, out of any Rags, Chavs, Spuds or Goons moaning when you lot sweep the league by 15-20+ points for the next 3-4 years at least. You should only get it by 6-8 points this season bar a monumental slip by us so it’ll be the closest title race for some time.

And VVD is so far above every other player in our team it’s unreal. I put VVD in that best/worst player thread you had on here when most of you lot were saying Salah on repeat. The guy is unreal, simply unreal and I hope he stays long term.

Nah, mate: we will win every single game which is left, and this season will be remembered for us being, what was it? Ten points adrift at one stage? And how we turned it around and won the league.
And next season we will be even better.

Greame Souness on Sky doesn't look too happy about the dippers performance today and rightly points out the difference between in quality between the respective midfields and the creative difference that the two Silva's and KBD possess over their midfield .
