As I have said I did not say easier. I was simply responding to a previous post who said it was easier. I admit I used the word easier if that is what you are getting at. !!!

You SURE your intelligence quotient is above 57?

Could have fooled me.

he went down in my estimation when he said that. We have not resorted to that, but I'll tell you, you can tell him now if you're watching it, we're still fighting for this title, and he's got to go to Fulham and get something, and... and... I'll tell you, honestly, I will love it if we beat them. Love it.
Sunday afternoon.

I doff my cap, sir.

Means nothing to me mate, I was only born 3 and a half decades ago, don't remember any of them.
When I was 13 I lived in a pub as the landlady was my mum and on the 26th may 1989 I was allowed to go downstairs and watch the Liverpool-Arsenal game for the league. The pub was absolutely packed and everyone was supporting Arsenal. Rags, blues all together for 1 night.

When Thomas scored the entire pub erupted and I remember someone shouting "take that you Scouse ****s!!" And the pub was rocking for the rest of the night.

Still one of my best football memories and I had my first half pint of Carling Black Label that night!

They've lost all of their CL away games this season. Just sayin.

Apart from you being a couple a year older and me not living in the pub (it was next door) I have almost identical memories of that night. The drink in my case was half a boddingtons though as my brother was old before his time, He would have been 23 then.

I see they're annoyed about us misappropriating their Alez Alez, Alez song.
Good.
Yes I’ve lost two “friends” on Facebook because of that song. One posted irate during a City game, furious we were singing it and mentioning them. I replied, he then went into the “no class/no history” routine, I then said he really shouldn’t be bringing class and history into a discussion as it was a particularly glass house. He say how so, I reminded him of Hysel and that singing a song was hardly on a par. Our mutual Liverpool fan chipped in and I held my ground.

The conversation ended and then when we went 1 point clear, I tried to find his post gloating after going 7 clear and noticed he was no longer in my friends list, same with the second guy.

So all in all, I’m very grateful to that song. Don’t have to read their bile any longer.
