Oh they will do that I'm sure of it, the strange fuckers. From Rawk -
Part of me wants the Kop to chant "champions" at our lads if we finish second with 97 points.

I cannot understand what point you are trying to make here. Why 10 seasons ? why those 10 ? Its all bo****ks really. 78-79 till 88-89 Lpool 7 titles, 92-93 till -2002-2003 Man Utd 8 titles. Different years different results. Is it even 26 years of being the dominant force also? I worked out there were 7 different winners from 1965–66 to 1974–75(10 seasons).
Derby and Leeds won just as many titles as Liverpool in that time. City had a great team as we all know, who were only one behind, as were United(edit: actually won in 1964–65 as well, but lets keep it at 10 seasons) Everton and Arsenal. I wasn't around but it seems like it was a very competitive era up until that point.

Some of us have even seen the European Cup at Anfield, it is there, so I cannot see your point here. Real Madrid have at least one and I am sure a couple of other teams have one as well, cannot be bothered to look it up.Well for some reason the call themselves european royalty and some even state that they own a certain trophy - well i would say real madrid hold that accolade and even ac milan have a better case than liverpool
But then that is liverpool for you. They are cut from the self entitled cloth that the rags wear. The best next thing that could hapoen in modern football and in the premiership would be for a wealthy benefactor to purchase and build Everton
We might as well give up tomorrow as according to articles Burnley will decide where the title is going. Seems that Liverpool have been handed the points against Newcastle and Wolves already so they may as well not bother turning up

You seem to have missed my point the poster was saying Liverpools history is deficient, and now you are saying its not winning it is merely time. I actually agree with you our history includes time in 2nd divison, a lot of Shankly years with no trophy and now. That’s not hist... sorry, 'istree. That’s a list of the trophies that you have won over the years.
History and winning things are not the same thing.
2nd is the 1st loser.would love to hear the kop sing champeones through gritted teeth when they come 2ndVictims again.
