For some reason, I hate Robertson. His smug face absolutely annoys me. Is it just me? Come to think of it, I hate Henderson too. The only player they have that I like is maybe Alisson.

Henderson went up a notch for me with the hug he shared with his dad. You can’t watch that and feel nothing.

TAA congratulated City on the day we won the league on Twitter. To my knowledge no other player did nor did LFC. He’s probably their youngest player too. So for now he has my respect. LFC thanked Tottenham for a great final. Easy to be magnanimous in victory, harder in defeat, eh Liverpool!

I think a lot of City fans find it hard to separate the fanbase from the team (and manager). I think they are an excellent team with a great manager. Whatever anyone says it is an achievement to reach the Champs League Final two seasons running. I think this Liverpool team is better than the one that pipped us to the league in1976 and went on to dominate football for the next ten years. This is what makes our success over the last two years even greater.

Wasn’t it 1977 when we finished second? It’s an even better achievement to win the thing three years running. The whole CL format needs a shake up as it can’t be right that you can lose a third of the games and still win the whole thing.

Nobody has mentioned Liverpool's River Fedtival was on at the same time and attracts 100,000's of visitors over the Weekend. https://www.theriverfestival.co.uk ( let's go and watch the parade)

So, a perfect storm. Sunday, River Festival, etc.

Another interesting thing. First it was 500,000, then it jumped by 250,000 to 750,000(Joe Anderson, the leader of LCC, stated that figure), then it went over 750,000.

Liverpool's population is 450,000, so they were all there, including Everton fans. Or the Merseyside population is just over 2,000,000, so 1/3 of them were there. The whole route, and the full length of the Strand, should have been rammed. But it wasn't. The section of the Strand near the Liver building looked good. But that was close to the end of the parade, and close to the River Festival. The end of the strand near Princes Dock, which is the beginning of the Strand was basically empty.

I smell Scouse bullshit. Well done Joe. Great bit of PR for quoting that 750,000 parade figure, that has gone viral. As the leader of the city council, you have done a great job.

Not forgetting all the dippers still stuck in Spain.

So I've had a quick peep at the Mo Salah thread and there is something brewing

Why are some news agencies still writing up the bust up & transfer request???

and

Yeah I just read the crazy transfer story in the express...wtf...

and

Even if he wanted to leave, he has signed a new contract. No one will be able to afford him.

However, most are just writing it off as gossip and that he will be there for the next 4-5 years and will break Liverpools goal scoring record
