Didn't watch the game but did anyone really expect them to drop points to Brighton at home? I suppose they did beat the Rags last week but that would have been too good to be true especially with them knowing we'd already dropped points.

Might as well drop the trophy round to Candlefield now.
The Victimpool media wankfest is in full swing already

again (like the last game), they aren't as strong as people make out.....there forward line can be devastating (Id have Mane in a flash with us) but I still think they are vulnerable to teams who don't open up against them

We play into their hands which is why they have the beating of us but despite a lot of possession today they struggled to break down Brighton and their goal came from a Brighton error/loss of possession. Brighton could have had a couple of goals as well.

They seem to not be closing down as much in the attacking third (or maybe they are saving that for us!)

Whats for certain when playing Liverpool is not to give away possession in the middle third of the park as on the turn overs they are better than anyone.....

2 pts ahead...lets see how they deal with being on top and being chased

They might not be top after Chelsea visit St James' Park tomorrow.

Was it the 80's or 90's when City won their first three matches, top of the league, and were relegated that same season? Not that will happen to the dippers .
Anyway the 3 scouse families camping all in one tent next to me, who managed to squeeze into an 8m wide space between me and the next tent, will be giddy tonight. ****s.
Update: the campsite is full of dippers. Depressing.
