I think it's a bit early to be assessing any team from their performances to say whether they would be a challenge or not. Two seasons ago we won our first ten matches and many media folk said we would be untouchable last year after three we beat Brighton reasonably without looking outstanding , drew with Everton and although Walker was unfairly dismissed we wen't wholly convincing and just managed to get a last minute winner against Bournemouth. It wasn't until the last hour of the Liverpool match that we started to look convincing.
I don't think Liverpool have been great so far but they still have to gel a lot of players and have still picked up max points.
Before the season started I thought they would challenge for the title so far I haven't changed my mind, which is not to write us off I think we have a great team and hopefully still have enough to win.

But.... We haven't actually been convincing, maybe we don't need to be. I keep hearing that's what title contenders need to do. But it's very weird not having played well and still picking up points. I'm not used to that.

Yeah early season it’s all about picking up as many points as possible how you play isn’t that important. Would you struggle though if VVD gets a long term injury? Just because he so dominant composed and makes you a really solid side.

I think the keeper signing is a huge step forward for them. The shite they had in nets last year held them back. I think they will be thereabouts this year if they don’t suffer any major injuries and depending on how far they go in Europe.
