I see Sturridge is again the worlds greatest striker ever ever.
Amazing that when any of their players do something of note they are automatically catapulted to the world class level.

Otherwise that was a decidedly average performance from the champions, I would expect more.
As for Chelsea, they have absolutely nothing other than Hazard and maybe Jorginho.
Only seen the highlights on MOTD but it looked like a draw was a fair result. No doubt the Dippers are strong, but their challenge is dependent on keeping Van Dijk fit and also Robertson is a key player imo. The drop off to their replacements ie Lovren and Moreno is huge.

It is 12 months since City went to Stamford Bridge and put in a masterclass performance which showed we were the real deal. Whilst the Dippers looked good their performance yesterday was not at the level of City's 12 months ago.

However, I would snatch your hands off for a draw next week, but expecting a defeat.

I thought the dippers match last night was the best premier league game so far. And a draw fair.

BUT, The goalkeeper went for the Sturridhe shot with the wrong arm. His movement initially was poor and it should have been an easy save.

I was wondering if other people see it this way?

I thought both goals should have been saved, Alison was not set for the hazard strike and too far over, and agree footwork was poor for a shot from that distance to beat top keeper
