Klopp is already getting the excuses in the dippers are tired. Ever other team in the top 5 has had the same anoint of games to play, Arsenal played Thursday and still managed to stick 5 past Fulham.

Their whole pre season was about stealing a march on City with the amount of players having to come back from the World Cup and not having a preseason. It’s not worked, City can slowly bat these cretins out of the title race and concentrate on the real threat which is Chelsea. I wouldn’t be surprised after all the hype they’ve had at the start of the season if Arsenal finish above them.

They are spent after that first 25. They expand way too much energy and if you can keep them quiet during that period they will always drop points.

They will be there about, but we are better. We have better depth and a much more manageable game plan over 90 minutes.

They're not our main concern the officials & Chelsea are.....a fair league table should be dippers -5 points & us +4 (all ours ripped by fucking Atkinson), just the 9 point swing so far then after 8 games that sort of ratio can't be kept up for another 30 games.

The drop off if they dont score early is huge and the drop off if they have to change even one player from their best 11 even bigger.

take hazard out of the Chelsea team and they are average so a lot depends on how sari manages him.

Looked pretty average yesterday. Powderpuff shot and several wayward ones were all he could muster.

The interesting thing is we have coped with injuries to our main playmaker, our two first choice left backs and Chelsea and the dippers mainly playing out of their skins, yet we are still top. Yesterday it was uplifting to see us go to Anfield and for once show some steel, courage and grit in the face of all that horrible place threw at us. A coming of age for some of our players yesterday.

First time at klanfield yesterday.in the town never seen so many people not locals buying scarves,city fans taking liberties in spoons,new dipper fans with scarves trying to pay for buses with train tickets and oyster cards .finding euros at the ground.
No famous atmosphere.bus back into town all playing their ynwa vids on their phone as a memory .
From what I saw yesterday it just resembled a day out at alton towers for most of em.
