Good to see them knacker themselves to get second in the group...let them preen...more fronts to fight on and a trickier draw in the next round.
 
I said on here when the group was drawn the scouse ****s would piss getting through.

Napoli are bobbins and Red Star are a championship side. Was never going to be a drama for them.

Thought they were very good tonight and it could’ve been 5-0 they missed that many chances.

These aren’t going to go away lads.
 
Them staying in is better from a Prem league perspective. They wouldn’t have taken the Europa seriously.

Having said that I want them out next round
 
This liverpool is different from last season. Last year they were ultra attacking, now they are much deeper, grinding points.
 
Happy with that, just about the ideal situation for us, given a hard game, scraped through in second, united will rest their entire team tomorrow which gives them a chance to freshen up before the weekend and they will play one from Dortmund, Barcelona, Porto and then likely bayern, real madrid or Juventus in the next round so there's two more hard games where their first 11 will be crucial. There's also the added benefit of if we finish top, because all English teams finished second we are limited to athletico, roma, ajax or schalke and would have to be very happy with 3 of those 4 and even athletico aren't the best
