Pretty sure they chased down and won a couple way back in the early-mid 80's when Rush was playing for them but it's completely irrelevant to the present day as it's not like they have any of the same players or management as they had back then. Pointless comment really

Most title winners were teams that finished out a season well before 2004 when Chelsea changed the rules and were starting seasons so well that you'd be out of the title race by Christmas if you started slowly.

Blues are showing far too much schadenfreude above. It's not over till it's over.
Liverpool have the slightly easier title run-in. Our league season probably depends on a run of four games:
- Crystal Palace (A)
- Tottenham Hotspur (H)
- Manchester United (A)
- Burnley (A)

3 of the above teams took points off us last season!

We're having a laugh. Why not, it's been a good weekend.

Long way from that. Seeing as we have all the other competitions and we do not fully know
the state of all our injuries. We need to beat Watford and then we have a longer break from the league.

Bit of a debate at work this morning. Lfc fan said they had never been 10pts clear this season. Only 7 is this correct ? Or were they 10pts clear with a game in hand after they beat Arsenal? Cheers

That was always the masterplan - they saw how we chased down the Rags and they want to do the same. Lose the next two and they'll only be seven points behind and we'll see how much of a genius Klippity is.

Any dippers claiming the pressure is back on us are in their usual delusional state. Both teams are under pressure but the big difference is the momentum and recent history of serial winning is most certainly with us.
Their players looked distraught at the end yesterday.
It was quite beautiful.

We've been under pressure since Christmas - every game at the top is pressure. If we don't win it, it won't be because we can't handle it (unlike spuds and the dippers), it will be due to injuries and fixture pile up.
