Weird coincidences happen with winning runs and we’ve been on a good run at Anfield, unbeaten there for over a season and a half. Would be ironic if the team to end our PL home unbeaten run were also the last team to beat us at Anfield in the PL in Palace.

I’m a bit worried about this one.

The one thing no one should take for granted is looking at the relative merits of a team and assuming that therefore the stronger is bound to win. Palace won at City after all.

Lovely stuff, it's in their heads. They look like a team slowing down, and this added pressure. They should win it tbf, best centre back in the world ever, best keeper ever, the most attacking attack ever. Plopp will surely have a breakdown if they fail again he looks unhinged!

Cocky scouce fan I work with (he’s from Bolton and never been to a game in his life) was saying the gap between us has never been more than 7 points this season because I was winding him up saying if they lose it from here it’ll be as bad as Newcastle in 96. Was the biggest points gap not 10 over Christmas?

Has only been a maximum 7 points this season. We had a chance to go 10 clear if we won at Etihad but ended up being 4 points.

It was 10 points when we kicked off against Southampton
