Don't know, Bayern actually performing to par for a change and giving them a good hiding would shake their confidence. We don't want Liverpool thrashing them (if Bayern play the way they're frequently doing these days it's a possibility) either as they'll gain momentum from that. The way I see it;
Heavy defeat to Bayern - good.
Narrow defeat to Bayern - bad.
Narrow win - good.
Heavy win - bad.

Completely agree re those points. Think with van Dijk missing the first leg that it will be close regardless. Not sure Muller will be a huge miss for Bayern at this point in his career.

See @twosips was on SSN Tuesday having s debate with a dipper about the title race. According to the dipper they have a better first eleven than us but we have a slightly better squad.

I also believe that Bayern could well give Liverpool a good thrashing, which would dent the Scousers in terms of confidence and belief.

Bayern winning by three or more clear goals would be good imho.

Muller out is very much a good thing, he's only getting in the team on reputation, not form and he's dragging those around him down. The rest of the senior players (bar Neuer) have a good performance in them and they've got the fullbacks to deal with Liverpool.
