Reportedly Van Dijk has already picked up a chill and is a doubt for the game tomorrow.
Warm weather might be good for the joints while they're there but I wouldn't fancy having to readjust to the cold coming back while playing football.

You go to Dubai as it’s a bit of a hub for travel to the Far East and Australia you pick up a lot of bugs being in a pressurised plane. It happened to me and was in bed for 5 days whilst staying there.

Having a break and not playing disrupts the rhythm, City weren’t quite at it after the last international break which probably resulted in us not performing over the festive season. We shall find out in the coming weeks February is pivotal in the title race looking at fixtures and how frequent they are.

Drastic changes in humidity and air temperature aren't going to help your immune system fight off any bugs either.

Aldo a mediocre player who cost the bindippers the double when he missed that penalty against the mighty Wimbledon

'They are still a small club' - John Aldridge says Man City have one big advantage over Liverpool in title race

Just in case we dont hate them enough
"Even though I appreciate City fans will be offended when we say they are still a small club, that is how everyone outside of their bubble still views them, despite their success in winning a few trophies in recent years."

An ex-Liverpool player talking about another club living in a bubble without a hint of irony.

A washed up, clapped out ex-footballer writing in a washed up, clapped out newspaper.
Some people will do anything or say anything in an attempt to stay relevant.
They really are genuinely worse than the rags. I treat all of them, every single one of the
them the same as I treat dog shit on the sole of my shoe.
