Agree that the media wankfest is going to be off the scale if they win it, but I've been conditioning myself to the idea of them winning it since we started chucking points away in December and let's look on the bright side - if we think it's going to be hard for us blues it will be far worse for United and Everton fans to cope with. Not to mention all those fans of other clubs up and down the country who have a whole army of armchair gobby Liverpool fans to contend with. I mean, can it be any worse for City fans than when United won it in 1993 for the first time in 26 years? Not a chance - that night was about as unbearable as it gets with United fans pouring out of the woodwork all over the place. Liverpool is different - I'm guessing most of us don't know that many Liverpool fans so if they go on and win it, we can all just opt for the media blackout whereas it wasn't as simple as that with United because it was impossible to avoid the fuckers in our day-to-day lives. I reckon if we were nowhere near this title race and still mediocre and mid-table, ours would be just about the only fanbase in the country who wouldn't mind Liverpool winning it too much.

They win tonight and in all likelihood (barring a miracle) the title is theirs.

Can't lose to Palace, Leicester and Newcastle and expect to be Champions.

Too many City players either not good enough anymore, ageing or thought all they had to do was turn up.
 
If they win the league it be a total media blackout for at least a month oh and there parade there owners will be selling tickets for that theyll be 10m there other wise ;)
 
Liverpool are much more defensively solid than us so when they're not at their best going forward, they've at least a solid foundation at the back.

Were far too porous at times and Laporte, Stones etc aren't as good as VVD.

Yep klopp got them in between possession football long ball and never over committing to teams outside top 6.
 
I think the rags will be more pissed off than us if the mickeys win it.
Utd fans are fickle and are in limbo at the minute, they hate the pair of us with a passion so cheering either us on or laughing at either of us makes them look more fickle than usual.
Us or Liverpool finishing 1st or second and us hopefully nicking a cup or two whilst the red mardarses limp home in 5th or 6th will leave them distraught, don't let the ****s try and fool us trying to turn it around, only one loser out of all this and Its the rags.
 
There are still so many points to play for. AA, Gomez injured, VVD may be out and both Matip Lovren coming back from injury. Camacho seems like a likely option at RB. Pinning down the opponent's LB/RB has been one of the keys to Liverpool's good defensive record. Robbo/AA together with the wide forwards, force opponents wide midfielders and RB/LB:s to defend deep, stretch teams out and kill their shape.

It was clear that Zaha killed Liverpool's team shape, for long periods of time, and Liverpool struggled to maintain that constant pressure that they've implemented successfully during most parts of the season.

My guess is that Vardy will make lots of run in behind the whomever plays RB for Liverpool, and make sure that Liverpool are not allowed to push the RB forward.
 
Still a long way to go it's certainly not over yet.

Bookies have us 9/4 at the moment, I doubt we'll be a bigger price while we still have a chance.
