They seem to be so incredibly bitter. They would not be, if they were more confident, but they feel it slip sliding away.
Or, to quote the Immortal Bard:

"Now does he feel his title
Hang loose about him, like a giant’s robe
Upon a dwarfish thief."

Huge couple of games for them also, starting tonight against Watford.

Watford kept them out for 70-odd minutes at their place, although aren't quite as stubborn away from home.

As for Everton, all bets are off, they will be bang up for it.

If we can just win tonight and at Bournemouth, I would not be surprised to see a two-point gap in our favour come Sunday night.

well Watford let you down for starters

Sean Cox: Man admits Liverpool fan assault https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-merseyside-47400988

I see the Merseyside Clown Police have actually got off their arses and got a conviction. Shame they couldn’t do the same about the cnuts who smashed up the team bus.
Always offended, never ashamed.
Yes if it happens to them they move heaven and earth to get justice.

When the boot is on the other foot however nothing gets done.

Bad as the attack on our coach was, if it were a choice between bringing the person who left Sean Cox in a coma to justice or giving some sort of doubtless small punishment to a number of Liverpool fans who ultimately did no lasting damage to an indivudual I would choose the former all day, every day.
I understand that the two should not be mutually exclusive but a man who went to watch his beloved team play a game as well as his family has had his life ripped apart.
If the Merseyside police have taken their eye off the ball vis a vis finding a few vandals to prioritise catching an attempted murderer then I am all for it. Utterly sickening attack. Quite how many City fans are up in arms at this should cast their eyes in the direction of the Shalke incident.

See that Roma fan who assaulted Sean Cox has been given a three and a half year sentence, and rightly so.

Does anyone know if he made a full recovery?

brain damage I thought. The thug who did it shouldnt be allowed anywhere near football again

European shithousery, like the one who hit the poor fella last week in Schalke. My guess is this prick will be greeted with open arms in Italy once he's served his sentence, and allowed to games again, hope I'm wrong.
