Thankfully the echo is blocked at work, but mildly intrigued to how he allegedly mocked them, I'ld be surprised if came out with "I don't want that thieving scouse wankstain of a club to win the league" or the like.

And in regards the Hillsborough anniversary if its such a big deal would if have been more fitting for Klopp to try to win the FA cup to mark the actual competition they were playing in when it occurred? or maybe more fittingly for them to lose the league on the last day of the season like they did in 89?
Word for word.

Some on RAWK are calling it a day, others are still blaming Vinny not getting sent off against them (I can't actually remember that incident), but not a single one thanks their lucky stars that Mahrez blasted the penalty over the bar-selective memories in the extreme. But I guess that goes back to that May night in Brussels in 1985, what European ban, how many Italians died, what coach did we brick-it was just good humour and numerous other odious events that they choose to forget.

Oh, hi, just here looking for an update on the investigation on the fan that threw the flare into the Chelsea end.

Surely after nearly two weeks and with a hundred witnesses the Merseyside Police has managed to make an arrest and Liverpool has banned that supporter from the ground as promised.

Right? Right? Errrrrr . . . . hello?

Interview with Suarez on the Guardian site, where he (naturally) goes on about how special they are - so special he got out as soon as he could. But he goes off message when he says:

"When I was there, it was very different. We were on the verge of the Premier League with a squad nowhere near as good. They didn’t spend as much as they’re doing now. Any player would like to go to Liverpool now; it was different then. If we’d won the league, I think it would have been an even bigger achievement than if this team do."

They've spent money? Wow!

You didn't see how VAR was used last week, I take it. Don't count on it being used evenly for all teams.

For offsides it’s black and white.

For Salad’s diving etc yes they might play the ‘not a clear and obvious error’ card.

We’ve had several incidents where we’ve not had stonewall penalties - I can’t see them being ignored.

On balance it will negatively impact the dynasty clubs and we should benefit.

For the CL decision it was fucking dreadful, the use of one angle that appeared to suggest no handball. Going forward there needs to be transparent rules as to what angles/replays are used for increased consistency. I’ll bet we will be raising the matter before the start of next season.
