I mentioned on the CL thread mate I'm giving them no credit whatsoever, fucking none, zero, fuck um. Just have a look at that thread they have on our club on Rawk, no credit can be given to us and if any one dares too their attacked as we are ffp cheats, wankstain irelvance of a club, owners are a murdering torturing regime.

So no they arnt getting any fucking credit whatsoever the rancid shitstain of a club.

Are some of us - me included - not guilty of using that thread on RAWK as a barometer for judging their whole fanbase when in reality it’s little more than a handful of posters spewing their bile? Don’t get me wrong, they’ve got a sizeable number of insufferable c*nts amongst their support but the few I know are nothing like that.

Then again, I’m minded of that game in 1996 when we got relegated at Maine Road. A nothing game for them ahead of the FA Cup Final the following week and even Ian Rush looked embarrassed when he scored against us. Yet when the final scores were announced at the end and our relegation was confirmed, pretty much the whole away end took the piss. An act that annoyed us so much that it booted off outside and many City fans were hoping United would turn the fuckers over in the cup final.

he had plenty of opportunity to go elsewhere but chose the safe option of staying at a club he won the lot with, as good as he is he's a wimp imo. Needed to prove himself abroad out of his comfort zone.
I honestly don’t think he needed to do anything. 600 goals in 684 games for Barca. Don’t see anyone saying Silva and Aguero should have left us in their prime to prove it’s not a fluke.

The “wimp” as you called him left home at 13 and moved continents. Then went on to be the greatest footballer of all time against the odds with his growth hormone deficiency. Some wimp. Have a bit of respect.

Mersyside police have thanked Liverpool fans for their behaviour last night despite the fuckers spending Tuesday night letting off fireworks outside the hotel Barca were staying at...

Press wankathon no doubt in full flow, we will never here the end of comebacks like that night at anfailed against Barcalona They have won nowt until the football stops. At least we have one trophy sewn up. I have to admire how Klopp has got the team playing. With a bit of luck some big team will want him in the summer.

BBC wankathon continues. Of the 10 headlines on the main sports page, 5 are about the dipshits. I’ve yet to read anything about how abject Barca were in that game, plenty of mighty Barca, Messis Barca etc

If that had been City the narrative would have been that Barcelona were dreadful not that City pulled of a fantastic victory. The fact is that was the worst performance I've ever seen from Barcalona but you won't see much mention of that in the media wankfest.

They did incredibly well last night, their starting XI was significantly weaker than Barcelona's but they play with far more courage and belief.

I think either Spurs or Ajax will give them a very tough game in the final, but to overcome a 3-0 deficit still takes some doing.
I think you are overestimating Barca’s team. Apart from Messi, Coutino, Rakitic, Vidal, Piquet, Busquets and Suarez are among those who are supposed to be their star players. Would any of them get in our preferred starting eleven? I’m not sure, they have all seen better days and are definitely on the wane. They were just too slow last night, they lost the midfield battle and the Dippers got the ball wide at every opportunity, Valverde didn’t have the nous or the conkers to change it quickly enough. I think Arthur, Umiti and Semedo should have started instead of Rakitic, Vidal and Coutino, more help at full back, quicker in midfield and better defensively. Pep in his time at Barca played Messi as the lone striker and dominated midfield, I know he had Xavi and Iniesta but Barcas tactics last night were shocking and they paid a price, they won’t feel the pain 1500 miles away, we will in the form of the media shitstorm/walkathon over the next month.

Barca played reasonably well apart from the defence. What a shambles at the back that just couldn't cope with crosses from the flanks.
To help Liverpool win the tie, Allison made some great saves as well as the defence making lots of last ditch tackles. Liverpool had a huge slice of luck that Barca didnt score but even so, praise is due to the team who just kept going.
I'll give credit to their fans when they give some in return and hell will probably freeze over before that happens.

I think there are many factors as to why Barcelona were poor but the main issue is the pragmatism of the manager. The fact that they are so scared to ask Messi to work off the ball means they play a completely lopsided system that doesn’t suit the players. Busquets doesn’t have the mobility, Vidal has dodgy knees and Roberto has never been good enough. They played completely into Liverpools hands by meandering in possession. I still think you have to give Liverpool huge credit. They pressed like animals, they took their chances and over the tie they were much better than Barcelona.

Barcelona have had the greatest player of all time and have wasted his prime years with piss poor signings, a coach who’s primary nature is to be defensive and a board who have lacked any real direction since Txiki and Soriano left. Replacing Neymar with Dembele (who isn’t actually that great) was laughable.

There's plenty of that on Talksport, no doubt to wind up the scousers to ring in. On their forums they'll be screaming about media bias against them.

A good assessment, they really got ripped off paying £140m for Coutino, the consequences of that signing were there to be seen last night, huge negative for Barca wasting that money and a big plus for the Dippers spending it wisely on Van Dyke and Alison. De Jong will help rebuild Barca but I can see Real being the team to beat in Spain next season.

If Ajax go through then I hope this little quote from Klopp is used as motivation for them

"Sorry that we lost the final yes, that’s right. We played Sevilla, they played Ajax. That's the difference.“

Sometimes these snide comments come back to bite you on the arse.
