This year has been a terrible one for Liverpool . The shear volume of injuries could not have been predicted. We can write it off but we will be back next year. That's how this season is . We have to take the medicine and carry on

It's hard to know where to start with that post.

So playing near enough the same players game after game for two years with an almost biblical lack of injuries, means nobody could predict what would happen eventually?

If you go all out for the world's most expensive defender and goalkeeper, means less funds to buy decent back up players when the injuries start to pile up.

Rotating the squad also helps to minimise injuries, and when they do occur means the dip in form is less severe.

We have had many injuries to many main players over the last three years. Pep also lost his mother last year.
The media ignored our injuries with the narrative that we are a rich club with a large squad who shouldn't use that as an excuse. Last time i checked, all clubs have the same squad size. Our owners being rich means fuck all due to FFP.

When Peps mum died. i don't remember him berate/belittle interviewers and act like a complete ****.

The media, that most dippers somehow think are against them, have nearly fallen over themselves to excuse Klopps behaviour and poor results because of injuries and his mum.

As for your comments that "next year will be our year". Why?

You haven't got a deep quality squad. Your injuries have shown that. Only if you go on another injury free season will you be in with a shout.
Your biggest problem will be keeping your top players and your manager. They all seem burnt out.
There will be no new money incoming.

As for taking your medicine. Not having access to it, is the leading reason why you are picking up so many injuries this year!

stop making excuses, find a solution and deal with it, but i shouldn't expect anything else from liverpool, it is never your fault, you've had your one good season, back you go to fighting for top 6, that's all you are now, a plucky underdog .
I think, by any objective analysis, they had at least two good seasons.

Show me any other side that has its 3 centre backs out for the season and I might agree with you. I accept that's football but to deny what I said is just kidding yourself
Of course. losing 3 centre-backs, including your captain, is going to affect you. We lost Laporte to injury last season, Kompany stepping down and Stones was out for a lot of it. We had Otamendi and Garcia, plus Fernandinho dropping back, but it affected us.

But it doesn't explain why your forward line isn't as potent as it was, with their failure to score against Brighton and Burnley. Nor can it account for the fact that you conceded 7 at Villa when you had 2 first-choice defenders, including van Dijk, in the team.

It could be worse, at least you saved us from the cringeworthy “We go again”

I was winding up an ex Scouse work colleague, he was bemoaning there recent form, he said " I don't know what's got into them just lately" what's not got into them just lately more likely I replied.
