One of his lines about Allisons recovery from mistakes; "What I liked was what he did with the very first ball that was played back to him: bang - he just got rid of it. I don't think he even took a touch"

Yes, exactly what I want to see a keeper do if I watch Burnley. So he hasn't actually recovered, he's just decided he's that shit scared of the ball he'll hoof now.
He wasn't even good at that. I saw him boot it out of play at least twice.

So true, after I posted I thought the same thing. Do we really need that many? Minamino (obviously gone now), Milner, Naby (la) Ox, Fabinho, Henderson, Wijnaldum, Jones, Thiago, Shaq.
Surely if you need that extra bit of cover thats what the youth is for.

Most of us don't really care about your average squad, it's irrelevant to us, post on the sites you are competing with for a Thursday night Euro spot, Spuds, Arse, Leicester, Villa, etc. I'm sure "Shaq" will appreciate a Manager that values his contribution when Bugs Bunny gets the FSG boot.

Clueless loved Shaqiri, he's looking for work afaik.

Ederson plays a pinpoint pass virtually the length of the pitch, to set up a goal, but Alisson gets plaudits because he can blast it into row Z?

It's telling that they big him up just because he managed to have a full game with no major catastrophe for a change!

Maybe a bit off thread. But his Dad was a **** by not advising him properly. Can't think, with his Dads allegiance to the Arse, why he let him go to Chavs
We don't know if his Dad was a "****" Ian Wright was not his biological father but he certainly had a downer on City when he was eventually released second time around. SWP was never a great player but he was very good for us and the best of a bad bunch at a time when we were really shit, loved his commitment and application. He was our shining light. The Chelsea offer of £20m was met with "no way", far too little for a player of his ability, "what about £21m?" Go on then, we'll take it.

He was just missing a big ”ave it” shout when he wellied it.

Last night "fletch" shouted "blip what blip" after the dippers had been gifted a 2nd goal.
WTF
Out of both domestic cups and the worst defending champions of the premier league, languishing in 6th spot,
get a grip you silly BT salesman

not having a go, but just to clarify- Liverpool are not , currently, the worst defending PL champions.
Chelsea finished 10th and Blackburn 12th.

though they clearly come nowhere near the top division all time record of City!
