1929/30 season was the last time they lost to both us and Everton at Anfield in the league. 3-0 to Everton and 6-1 to us.

I said to my teenage son (who’s been wearing his D Silva shirt whilst egging on Everton) if I should start feeling sorry for Lpool.
He said, no chance!

Teenagers do actually know stuff then!
