"A relatively minor talent in the general scheme of things"
Wow
Wow
Daglish was a superb player at least as good as Keegan He also went to every funeral of the fans killed at Hillsbrough visited the families he’s a top man
The opposite is true of almost everything you wrote thereI see the mawkish rawkers are wetting their underpanties celebrating Kenny Dalglish's 70th birthday.
Never got the whole Dalglish thing - always seemed to me to be a dour, unpleasant character.
A relatively minor talent in the general scheme of things, wasn't fit to lace Keegan's boots, imho. Lazy as sin too.
Left Vilepool in the sh1t in 1991 - they got their revenge, though, and sacked him in 2012.
Still, loved by the Cult, as only they can.
But, but, but, lest anyone call bluemooners begrudgers, Happy Birthday King Kenny. And if you've nothing else to do, get out a bit of brasso and shine up that trophy - we'll be wanting it back shortly!
They also seem to be utter c**ts as well. Amazed no one in the prem has left a real nasty one on them as they seem to like to dish it out.

Ahh the joy of football, how it can bring joy/optimism, anger/pessimism! How things can change!Currently 7th as I type....the shit we had when we had games in hand and were outside the top four early in the season will surely be heaped on them tonight before the Chelsea game.
It's irrelevant what we as City fans felt about our chances, the media narrative had decided anyway which is the point of my post.Ahh the joy of football, how it can bring joy/optimism, anger/pessimism! How things can change!
I seem to recall quite a few members of this forum writing off City when a few points behind, even with the games in hand.
I never saw it myself and recall at the start of the season suggesting that I had City as favourites for the league, due to your squad depth and all round quality. Something I was lambasted for by Kaz!
Sitting at work at present I'm being the pessimistic one and thinking we could be 4 points off CL spots and 22 behind you lot.
.....but I shall still bask in the glow of being "European royalty"....
:-P
I think it was £450,000. That was big money then.Did Celtic give him away or did the dippers pay cash for him ;-)
