Not looking good for Van Dijk. He’ll be 30 in July and he’s now out of the Euros.

Shame for him as he was undeniably a great player. But feel like it’s just desserts for their fans after laughing at Laporte’s injury

It seems a bit strange this injury. On one hand he wants to be fit for next season, but which international player turns down his country in a major final. More often than not they wait till the last minute to decide.
Or His recuperation isn't going to plan.

Yeah it’s a strange one, and he always struck me as a guy who values his national side. So suspect it’s the latter and he’s not quite ready?

I mean it’s not like he’ll have the champions league to save himself for! (I say prematurely)

I think we have to face facts and accept once and for all that the Dippers really couldn't give a shit about us. They simply don't care one iota about what we do, say or win.

They have a City thread on their main forum site where the first post is a gif of Van Dijk saying "Who cares?" and then almost FOURTEEN THOUSAND posts from like minded Dippers echoing that sentiment.

The evidence is beyond contestation. We need to move on.
