I recently met a guy I haven't seen for nearly two years because of the lockdown. He's quite normal apart from being a scouse fan. After the usual greetings, almost the first thing he said to me was "What a header that was!"
U was genuinely baffled, so he added "From Alisson! Worthy of Nat Lofthouse!"
I said "Oh yes, I think I remember. You just scraped into the top four!". He was genuinely shocked. A little later he said "What do you think of Kyle Walker? I don't think he's that good."
I pu him right before he started on about TAA, but it just shows how self-obsessed they are. I wished later that I'd said "I thought you'd be congratulating City on heir double!" But he never mentioned it.
