Even though we didn’t get the 100 points the season after, that one was better. Going on a winning run from being down and out against Newcastle was some achievement, specially with the help the dippers got. The scousers immediately crack when they are put under pressure, they never had it last year but are evaporating with the top half of the premier league baring down on them.

I actually thought they would myself especially after they beat Leicester who were looking good at the time. Our form was stuttering, the rags were fluking wins but looked terrible and Spurs were, well Spurs. The dippers fluked a win against them as well.

Before we write their obituary it is worth stating they are still top of the league. Sure if teams win their games in hand that will change but they have to win them first. I'm praying this is the start of their decline into another thirty years of obscurity please God.

There is something ridiculously enjoyable about seeing others suffer like that and go through what every single person has been through on numerous occasions watching their team!!

Also thought he was quite honest with his comments on his own team (apart from saying the 2 penalties were nailed on, which they blatantly weren't!!)…...but thanks for posting that TPF, gave me a good chuckle seeing his pain :)

With the penalties there seems to be no clear rules. The ball hits a hand miles away from the body , penalty. The next game ho penalty. VAR hasn't solved a thing it's just made decisions more contentious. The situation was better when the referees made a poor instant decision. Now they are making poor decisions after looking at incidents for 5 minutes. VAR hasn't solved anything because you are still dependent on people making decisions

VAR has worked perfectly. It allowed you to win the title last year and this year isn't your turn. Simples.

Mane again should have been booked twice for diving and another for a retaliatory snider foul after he wasn't given a decision. Easily the player reffed most lenient in the league. Shady, snidey, moody, nasty **** of a player and he's getting worse. He is also so pissed off dropping points he's snatching at shots now. He will be off at the end of this season. There is no love for the club there at all.
