As Martin Tyler said at Anfield during the 0-0 with United " nearly 4 years unbeaten at home in the league - absolutely sensational home form"

Yep, formidable.

Now since the start of the unbeaten run: P69-W55-D13-L1 Points 178.

But not a match for City home games over the same period: P69-W58-D6-L5 POINTS 180.

I'd say that was fourmidable. Like 18/19 the number of Wins Win Leagues.

I should add we also scored more. Liverpool 176 goals and City 195.

Fuck the KOP - no match for the Family Stand sucking the ball into the net during the 2nd half of matches..

They would have had Ruben Dias and Laporte as back up if we hadn’t cottoned onto the hacking in time.
I doubt that they would have bought Aymeric. They’d just shelled out £75 million on van Dijkhead; there’s no way that the board would have sanctioned another £57m going out that quickly.

Happy as I am I think we should chill a bit. Until recently the situation was reversed, Liverpool were in first place and we thought we were on our way to a fight for the top 4 spot. Everything is changing very fast in this crazy season. Liverpool are still our main rival for the title in my opinion and no matter if United will be top of the league in March I will still think the same. 2-3 games that things will go not as planned for us and they are completely in the picture. On the more positive side - this year we just have to win at Anfield. Liverpool are not in good form, lots of injuries, no fans and we look great. If, and I emphasize if, we reach this game with 7 points difference and it will become 10 maybe it will be possible to take them out of the race
I'm going to have to say, no. Leicester is the best team I've seen in outside of us. Said it when they dicked us back in the day, and they are still round still.

We are better bthan United, but that doesn't mean they can't win the league. They have a few flat track bullies. Fake-Debryune, Pogba, and the Striker kid. Both of them. They punish small teams.

They'd struggle against the top 6 but seem primed to whoop everyone else. And that could be enough this season.

So Leicester, United, Liverpool, Tottenham, Villa in that order.

I'm simply not doing that thing we did a few years back where everyone pretended leicester simply weren't contenders. Even as they beat team after team.

I'm looking at Leicester as the main Challenger. We need to beat them on their patch. Period!!!

I remember a couple of seasons ago, the media were wanking themselves stupid at the prospect of Littlewoods going ten points clear of us, if they won at Etihad.

Sergio and Leroy had something to say about that and we went on to win the title.

In other words, don’t count your chickens before they’re hatched.

Wait till after the Man Utd and Spurs double header. I want to see how they respond to this defeat.

Lose to Man Utd and Spurs and they're out of it. I don't expect they will lose either game

I doubt they’ll lose to the rags.

The rent boy is a coward against "top six" opposition.

Vvd would have cost £50 million. But Klopp unveiled him in Blackpool before asking Southampton for permission to speak to him.
That cost them six months and an extra £25 million or so.

My original comment was tongue in cheek. But who knows.
