Condolences to Klopp. It must be terrible not only to lose his Mum, and unbearable not to be able to attend the funeral. Thoughts with him and his family.

Probably explains why he has been so tetchy in recent interviews. Must be difficult for him. You could see the toll it took on Pep when his mother passed away last season.

Apparently she died on the 19th January so it does coincide with his behaviour in interviews.

My thoughts go to Jurgen and his family. A devastating blow, losing your mum. Mine passed away over 10 years ago now, and there's not a day goes by when I don't think of her. God, I miss her.

Yeah I pretty much take back everything I’ve said about him over the past few weeks. He’s clearly been more irate than ever seen before while being in England, so this explains everything. Calling out reporters and journalists on a consistent basis within a month isn’t a normal thing to do, even if your are in a bad patch of form.

Lost my Mum over Christmas so I know what he will be going through, so sad that he can't go to her funeral, thoughts and prayers go out to him :(

I must admit I'm not a fan of Klopp, but even I feel sympathy for him regarding his mum passing away.
It must be really difficult not to be able to go to the funeral as well.
