You definitely have some very valid points, but as stated by Cool Hand Khaldoon, there has been clear & obvious attempts to sully our name across the media over the past couple of years, which has been orchestrated by journalistic stooges of certain other clubs. I’m sure you probably agree with this as only a blind man couldn’t see that.No. What you're doing is called Reductio Ad Absurdum, ie taking an argument to it's most absurd form to try to disprove a different point.
What I'm saying is that many football fans of all clubs suffer from persecution complexes and can only see the bad stuff and not the good stuff. We get some bad press because we are rich and successful but there is not this massive, co-ordinated cross-media campaign against City that some people believe.
I'll give you a little example: there's been lots of ceverage over the last few days about where it's all gone wrong for Liverpool. Loads of City fans are saying "Why are they not focussing on how good we were?" and loads of Liverpool fans are saying "They love it when we fail".
Unfortunately, this has driven some to take massive offence to lots of things that the media say about City, when in reality, a lot of the time, it’s really nothing to get offended about.
