So Shaqiri has now also wanted positive for covid-19. But he's on international duty with Switzerland.

This is where better track and trace is vital. As there have already been two cases with Liverpool FC recently then the concern has to be that if he's caught it from Melrose or somewhere they've been together, then somehow still managed to travel to international duty via air and potentially compromising tens if not hundreds of others including the Swiss team?

Saw a suggestion, may have been on here, that up to 5 Liverpool players had tested positive when only Mane was announced, and the club had requested a second test? Not being funny at all, this could be any club right now.

What’s the procedure if there is an outbreak at a club where several players test positive?

Amazes me that internationals are still happening.

Wont be long before all football stops being played if the rise continues, this "2nd wave" was expected and it appears that the games will continue until governments force them to shut it all down.

The international travel on top of that is crazy, it's like the money counters at the top don't care what happens to society as a whole as long as their cash cow keeps mooing.

I wonder if they'll blame the Rona for being gubbed as it meant they couldn't use their inhalers?

If a team has 13 players fit and available they are still forced to have a team on the pitch. so even if you have seven to ten positive cases as long as you can field 13 you still play your games.

Yeah, when Arsenal had a few players out, their game was postponed. When we had a few out, we still had to play.

This season was always going to be a shambles to be honest.
Living up to expectations l see.
It seems some teams are desperate to get players back irrespecive of risk to others. City seem to have done the right thing with Eric and Gundo.
With false negatives, faulty tests, different incubation periods, you can never be sure. Its got to be best to err on the side of caution.
