I remember him all too well at the height of the FFP stuff and he/she/bot alluded that our owner was at it, I asked for some kind of proof and he shut the convo down giving it the bollocks line he didn’t want to go back and forth ergo he was talking bollocks and has done in every single fucking post.

Your **** radar is working well mate.

Sorry to burst your bubble here but it wasn’t me going on about you trying to blag FFP. Look back through any of my posts and you won’t find any mention of it. Always swerved that line of conversation here, seen plenty of other arguments about it.

You called out our owner having dodgy dealings i asked you for proof and you couldn't or wouldn't show your workings now i repeat fuck off you plastic scouse wum.

Fuck me did you see how much time and space he had? He could have sat on the ball literally and nobody came near him, Newcastle was gone and had started dropping deeper.
Let's see how good he is or how much time he gets when he starts and a team is doing the press.
Not disputing he's a good player, he's exceptionally good but I bet he doesn't start 10 games for the tramps this season.
Completely agree, Thiago does look a great player but there has to be a question as to why Bayern let him go. The answer being that he is made of glass. Talented certainly and only (so far) looks good when allowed the time and space.....but I am sure even Eric Dier could look good with time and space (or maybe not)

As was said, our workhorse midfield couldn't really do anything against the massed defence, it being the same as against Albion. Both games needed Thaigo from the start imo.

Trying to blag FFP......obviously giving it a swerve again.

Thiago played 82 matches in the last two seasons. He is not free of injuries - but not made out of glass either.

Thiago had a contract running out 2021 - Bayern made the mistake not to renew early enough as Thiago would have renewed in winter and early spring - but did not after the Covid break. We can then discuss if you then keep the player a year and let him leave on a free - or if you take the transfer sum and let him go.

We could actually discuss what player combination is better for the game - Thiago + Goretzka, Kimmich + Thiago or Goretzka and Kimmich. Kimmich and Thiago for sure offer more art in passing - Goretzka in combination with one of the two offers more physicality and speed and more presence in the box. I compared the Bundesliga matches we had with the combinations of Thiago and Kimmich to that with Kimmich and Goretzka - and whereas we had more xG with Kimmich and Thiago - at the end we had as much goals and goals against with the Kimmich and Goretzka combination. Goretzka helps to have more power in the box whereas Thiago offers more creativity.

I miss Thiago as especially when Kimmich was out injured we lacked the midfield passer and had to work around it - and two out of three is ideal especially in this season with the schedule we have. But I can understand when somebody wants to see something else in his career after being with a club seven years. He came and promised to win the CL with Bayern - and he did that.

I wish Thiago luck - but for sure not Liverpool - atleast not as long Klopp is coach there.

Thiago looks like a real player. I suspect the injuries may come from the fact that he seems to pass a lot of balls just as the opposition player is about to tackle him. As for being made of glass, Matip, Keita , Ox and shaqiri could be record buys for Pilkingtons in St Helens. I am hoping Thiago doesn't end up there as well
