The curtain is about to fall on the season..

The dippers, the mentality monsters, the red arrows, the Egyptian king, the best goalie, the sweaty sock, trent darby, hendo, ginny, judas, bobby, the ferrel fans, all held together, overseen and managed by bingo, the best manager in the world (apart from some guy 30 odd miles down the East Lancs Road obviously), have won the square root of fuck all..!

However by losing 6 home league games on the spin they did managed to claim another record to be added to their honours board..

Big day today for them though, scrambling for a top 4 finish which to be fair, if VAR had done the job it was brought in to do correctly at West Brom, it would be out of reach today..

The dippers love a poem and it would be such poetic justice if Palace, managed by a manager who was hounded out by the cult manage to get a result which would befit Hodgson's last game in charge and in turn dump the dippers into the Thursday night cup..

Tough ask though as his team will be facing 11 dippers, the ref, 2 linesmen, the 4th official, the twats in the var hut, the match commentator, co commentator, (that'll be the un-sackable knob, spit), the sky presenter in the studio, souness, catflap junior, crouch, murphy and an over animated, teeth flashing, fist pumping, gurning German on the touchline..

However, despite all this, if Palace are looking like they are holding things together then expect the Egyptian diver to up the anti and produce his double pike, back flip with twist whilst throwing both arms skywards, complete with double knee buckles, this **** has got absolutely no fkin shame whatsoever, an embarrassment of a man..



Top 4, just as good as winning a trophy ?, you bet it is you deluded ****'s..!

What about a rag who decides that they are no longer worthy of their support and then decides to do a david mellor and change allegiance to Liverpool?...and then goes "full kit wanker" and also gets a YNWA tattoo?

weren't they top back early in the season?

Difference is Pep identifies what needs to change - Pep did it and we won the title

Klopp decided to not adapt and tried to plod on playing the same way - and some call Pep the fraud
 
Well thats it for the season...and once again CONGRATULATIONS to City.
Thoroughly deserved, head and shoulders above everyone else this season.
It may not have been the best for quality throughout or the saem amazingly high standards as previous years but you were still far far better.

A couple of things that crossed my mind this afternoon whilst watching the game and then seeing a few highlights....
and warning...I'm going to go all "Greggery Peccery" on you now and "talk football"

Although it is early days in his City career...Is or will Dias be as good or better than Kompany? Dias was an incredible buy already up there with the best in any league.

...And whilst this was a difficult season for all clubs I also wondered whether the lack of fans, the testing, the whole pandemic thing. Was this perhaps the best example of pure football. No fans or atmospheres to cloud things or change things hugely. Just down to the players , the manager, the tactics. The best footballing team winning out?
