Having the 3 point gap may shift 5% of attention to the fa cup over the league. The depth is more than enough to beat villa but equally don’t buy into gerrard rolling over for them. Im sure he will want to win more than a normal game. If he has ambitions above villa then winning tomorrow will go a way to showing what hes capable of. Rolling over and he’s not showing himself off

So, we had a 14 pont lead but they had 3 games in hand. So in reality a 5 point lead. So since January they have cut that lead to 3 ponts. So, in essence, they have clawed back 2 points in 3 months....?

I looked at Goalometer which gives adjusted league tables to show same number of games.
By this measure the biggest lead we had was 8points but that’s only after completed sets of games.
After just five games they were 3 ahead so that’s a 6pt swing for us.
Easy to manipulate whatever you want.
Only fact the dippers require is they are 3pts behind

Well for me I think the humorous part is that he's actually trained them to be an excellent league side too. Possibly one of the greatest in PL history. But the humour comes from the fact that at the same time they've hit their greatest heights, there's a team that's just been that little bit better than them.

It's funny that, for all the praise they get, they've won 3 trophies (4, if you include that glorified Community Shield) during the gurner's time there. The bald frau Pep has won 8 (not counting the real Community Shield).

Not only have we never won the European Cup, as you so rightly point out, we’ve also never prevented other teams from taking part in the European Cup as a direct result of our fans’ violent behaviour which lead to 39 people losing their lives.
