The notion that a Wolves fan is going to tell his kids in a few years about being grateful to witness Liverpool winning the league and Anfield being a ‘unique place’ is too comical for words. Not sure too many yam yams use the phrase ‘boss’ either.

It’s funny you know, I’m old enough to remember when it was normal to back English teams regardless of one’s own loyalties when they competed in Europe (like Notts Forest under Clough)

Those times are long gone though.

I’m actually thinking the scousers bitter entitled “don’t care” reaction is doing us wonders. Obviously we will always get our fair share of abuse but I’d say this season has been a bit of a tipping point and more or less all of the fans of other clubs I know (other than Arsenal fans…) are willing us on and are delighted we’ve pipped them in the league this season - and mostly because they can’t fucking stand Liverpool and the narrative around them.
