I am not saying this because City havent won the CL but how can a knockout cup be classed better than a 9 month league season

As surly a season 9 months long is tougher to win.

TV companies pay a lot of money to get the rights to it, so they will sell that message all day long. Ex Dippers buy right into it as they've only been the best team in England once in 30+years, but in that time I think they've been the best team in Europe 3(?) times - also the best team in the world as well.

Rags like Shit Tash, Camel Gob, Wife Beater/Sister Shagger and the Ginger Goblin always say the league as it's a true test of the best team (and to be fair they won both trophies).
