Context is everything.

They said sorry for ‘having to’ teargas them - which the uk media pounced on and ran with, as an apology.

When Infact the wording was approx ‘sorry for having to use tear-gas on fans, due to the behaviour of a large group of fake ticket holders and ticketless Liverpool fans, which was causing so much trouble, we had to resort to teargas and pepper spray to contain the situation, and disperse the problem fans. We are glad we did this action as the consequences of not doing it would be far worse. We would do the same actions again’

But no it’s an ‘apology’ and vindication of saintly fan behaviour in the uk media & Liverpool fan eyes

There was an apology for the use of tear gas but the police chief said it was done to save lives. There’s wasn’t a serious injury so they objective was achieved.

The media management resources of the French police aren’t a match for the £multi billion British Scousewashing Corporation.
