This wanker again. He wrote Jamie the Spits book and previously worked for the Echo for years. He has spent years grovelling in front of Dipper fans coz he had the temerity to cross them over his association with the Sun.

Wow!! I was at my sons football training tonight and after speaking to a few of the dads who are Liverpool fans, the cult is back in full force. Fawning over Diaz on how he’s world class etc… I made the mistake of giving them some credit saying they have the bit between their teeth and they’ll probably go on a big run. Stupid mistake which put their giddiness into over drive. We’re going to now crumble as we will feel the pressure and will come a cropper without a striker yawn yawn. We have a poor footballer who cost £100 million. I just stay grounded and only boast if we do the business at the end of the season. I absolute detest them with a passion. You might get 1 in 10 Liverpool fans who are ok but the most just spout absolute shite. How the hell Everton fans cope I do not know.

It’s probably closer to 1 in 40 or so and the ok ones will tend to be the ones that actually go to a few games

Given Liverpool's style of play (they rely more on running than us to control games) and given the age of most of their key players, they are likely to struggle in the final 1-2 months, imo. Back in 18-19, their key players were 3 years younger. Now the likes of VVD, Salah and Mane are (nearly) 30, and have played more minutes this season than any of the key City players.

I'd be surprised if they keep running relentlessly come April and May. May be wrong, of course. Key is that we should rely on our strengths, and not on Liverpool's potential problems. If we are at our very best, we can win a big trophy or two.

Ahhh you forget no matter where they were born, they all grew up dreaming to walk out to YNWA belting out and taking part in a famous night under the Anfield lights. It means more and no money can match that.
 
You know the contest is over when they start printing the "its not fair" bollocks , oil nation , state backed the usual bullshit , they forget that the very simple fact is , we spend what we earn nothing more nothing less , in fact we left over £20m profit in the bank last season.
Where have the Dippers profits gone ? They earn similar revenues , the Yanks taking their annual "dividend" is the reason the scousers cannot compete financially , nothing to do with oil money , altough £1.50 a litre is taking piss.

I was thinking the same. They are either gloating or playing the victim and they are starting to go full victim. Silly really, as even though the league is a bit of a reach they are still in both cups and the CL. I'm pretty sure there was a feeble attempt by one of their media lackeys to say to say they were going fir the quadruple after their last result :-)
 
I'm still waiting for a journalist, any journalist, with some big f*cking balls to ask Klopp in his live press conference about Liverpool Football Club illegally hacking City's player database. And why those involved in the illegal and criminal act are still employed by Liverpool Football Club.

Same with fans of most clubs that. They feel they have to try harder to be a real fan despite never going. And Liverpool have more of these than most. Most match going fans are usually more grounded.

If winning the ECL makes them the best in Europe, doesn't that mean that winning the FA Cup makes the winners the best team in England?
Not sure what winning the League Cup is equivalent to. There will be a press release immediately after the final whistle. It certainly seems to be more important than in any of the previous 4 years.
