Getting his excuses in early. I think the only way they win the league this year is if several other teams underperform, and they probably know it. Their first eleven is good enough to be in the mix, but an injury or two away from scrapping for a European place.

I know they think Virgil is the saviour, but giving anyone a contract extension after a big injury is a risk.

Central midfield looks pretty light for them too, Henderson and Oxlade Chamberlain then Fabinho, so a lot riding on the counter / kick and run again this year.

Can see them dropping some unexpected points and having to really perform again just to make top 4.

I disagree, when people don't get pulled up when they are chatting shit they start to believe it after a while. The longer it goes on the more outlandish and cringeworthy it becomes.
