I would have taken the point at the start having seen the way Chelsea have played so far.
Thought it was a penalty but very very harsh to be sent off for that.
After that I thought that it simply showed that we are top 4 but not quite winners. I was watching the game and irrespective of Tuchels plotting and the quality of defending from them I am fairly sure that City would have found a way to win that.

We couldn't beat 10 man Leeds and even managed to lose it at the end, I'm not sure at all that we would've beaten this Chelsea side, they are terrific defensively.

That was not a sending off in my opinion because it deflected off his leg on to his arm. I'd have given him the benefit of the doubt. I watched the ref make the decision on VAR and he just looked at a still of the decision. He didn't look at the ball deflecting off the leg first and then on to his arm.

Chelsea are vey good at defending. I think they are the team to beat this season. I can't see a weakness in that side. I think they would have beaten Liverpool with 11 even at 1-1 at half-time.

Van Dijk played Lukaku well but Lukaku was a threat in the first half with the way he received the ball. They are very direct.

Salah was class and the young lad Elliott did well. Mane was very poor. Liverpool look short of creativity. They just rely on their forwards to manufacture goals.

I think their fans should be up in arms with their board because they should have rebuilt their squad. They use enmity towards Manchester City as a cover for not spending. 'We do it sustainably". Their fans are mugs if they accept this. Sustainability is reinvesting the proceeds of success back into the team. This season marks the last for this Liverpool side before it will be broken up. That's why I think Liverpool might do something this season because the motivation will be immense.

Still look like the Liverpool of last season rather than the relentless side of the two previous seasons to me. One home defeat this side of Xmas and I think they will give up.

Liverpool often seem to find it hard to break down packed defences. I often think that if teams set themselves up against them as they do against us, with everyone behind the ball, Liverpool would struggle much more.

Liverpool have struggled in attack for the past couple of years. They're missing a player. I don't know who that player is but they need someone to come in and reignite them. Happily, Klopp doesn't seem to know who that player is either.
