I was thinking the same. They are either gloating or playing the victim and they are starting to go full victim. Silly really, as even though the league is a bit of a reach they are still in both cups and the CL. It’s probably closer to 1 in 40 or so and the ok ones will tend to be the ones that actually go to a few games

Same with fans of most clubs that. They feel they have to try harder to be a real fan despite never going. And Liverpool have more of these than most. Most match going fans are usually more grounded.

Idk why this such a problem, most of player winning continental or world cup for their country is more important than winning club trophy even the champions league.

If winning the ECL makes them the best in Europe, doesn't that mean that winning the FA Cup makes the winners the best team in England?
Not sure what winning the League Cup is equivalent to. There will be a press release immediately after the final whistle. It certainly seems to be more important than in any of the previous 4 years.

It seems more important than in any year since 2012.
