Thouching or touching, I'd want the 'best bargepole in the world, and then it wouldn't be long enough. Living forty odd miles away sometimes seems too near.i'm concerned as to why people are trying to 'thouch' them, and deeply concerned as to what 'thouching' might involve.

'Thouching'? I think he learned his English from Fred Elliot.. similar to, for example, how Coronation Street's favourite butcher often told the object of his lust, Audrey, he wasn't bothered about "all that 'utching and thrutching.."He's learnt his English from Brookside and not Downton Abbey!
