don’t get our hopes up lads, it’s Everton next
About the second easiest match Liverpool could have at the minute after that one tonight

I’ve written off all their home games as potential for dropped points

Sorry mate, our defence is worse than Utd's and we have some shithouses so I wouldnt expect anything from us. It will be like that 45 mins but swap Utd for us.

Its in your own hands though, so you sort your games, doesnt matter what they do
My prediction
Liverpool 1 2 Everton

Yep.

Their recruitment in the forward areas has been much better.

They got Jota and Diaz whereas we spent more on Grealish.

Annoyingly their new players also didn't need a season to become a good player.
They spent a bit more on Diaz 60 and Jota 45. But they did the dirty on Spurs at the very last minute for Diaz. Gazumped them on wages with their huge wealth. Media not interested though as it’s not us.

Dippers were bang up for it tonight and superb barring a 15 period where the scum got a little ahead of themselves. No doubt dippers will win every game as they have great quality throughout the team. We have to win every game it’s that simple.
Without a striker I just can’t see it happening.

I think Utd waited before starting to press.
many teams have done the same to us.
liverpool looked leggy when that spell came about. It ended when the third went in.
i thought it was more about how bad Utd were rather than how good Liverpool were.

liverpool do seem to be trying to play like we do
Allison is woeful though for starters. I don’t think they will get away with it in every game.

Surely thats the view of City 15yrs ago?
Different times, different City...now winning 10, 12..14 games on the bounce is something you surely expect?
Comparing the run ins I think its safe to say City have the easiest run in. It's therefore yours to lose.
I think back to the Liverpool/Utd games of the past and always thought they would be tight. I really cannot recall another season where Utd have been so poor...and to think I like many actually thought that with Ronaldo/Sancho/Varane they would be challenging this year. They were so so poor.
Still think Everton will get themselves up for it and Spurs will be very tough.
Part of me would like it to go to the last game, but this time for it to be us 1 point ahead.
If we don't win it this season I think we will really be screwed next season if you do get Haaland

Diaz and Jota as the second front line are a different class compared to Grealish and Sterling and this is what is making them run up scores.
Sterling's scoring record is up there with Mane's - if you look at goals and assists, he's well ahead.

And I noticed the other day that, if it wasn't for Salah being a penalty taker at Liverpool, his goal scoring rate would be almost identical to Jesus. Jesus also provides more assists than Salah. And this is a guy who is considered a candidate for the Balon D'or.

If Liverpool rotated players like we do, then their numbers would still be impressive, but wouldn't stand out compared to City's players.

Even this season, which I think is the first time they've looked like outscoring us it's a marginal difference. Liverpool are averaging 2.47 goals a game, whereas poor City are only scoring at 2.42 goals a game.
