They looked fallible for the first time in a while in that first half yesterday, against a fairly ordinary side. Not sure if it was down to nerves or tiredness, or if it was just a one-off, but it offered a bit of encouragement for their remaining games. Still can't see them dropping any more points in the league though, so we'll have to win all of our fixtures to lift the title. Would be sweet to pip them by a single point though.

I don't really like this - but thats the option and afraid it's true.
I know - "that's the spirit" etc etc but he and them do know how to get under our skin. You can see it in Pep's interviews and demeanour when competing with them.

Difference is Klopp has the full media behind him and the officials on match days where at worse refereed fairly where we up against the media and the cheating officials.

The problem is they have games like that but rally to win them, mainly due to their forward line and a huge slice of luck. I've actually never seen a side that had so many keepers make howlers against them and mistakes elsewhere, as in missing sitters. Add on dodgy var and lenient refereeing decisions and it's exasperating.

Sod it being that close again my nerves couldn't take it. Please God for once let Spurs turn up and beat them, we batter Newcastle 5-0 and are 4 points clear with a better goal difference.

Well if ever there was an incentive to achieve victory tonight, here it is. Claiming they're the best of all time already, yet we have the opportunity to finish the season more successful than them. If ever there was a team less gracious in victory than they are even in defeat.

Confident a fully fit City beats these in the final, so let's make sure we get there tonight.

I just wondered what our record against Liverpool had been in all competitions in the last 10 years.

It‘s…..

25 games

W 8 D 7 L 10

Goals: City 43 Liverpool 43
