LolI remember that season well, it was Martinez's first season and he got us into Europe. And Liverpool were THIS CLOSE to winning the title thanks to the Uruguayan Hannibal Lecter.

It’s started.
The excuses. The denials. The lies.

Tbf it’s a bit like some of us pretending we don’t give a fuck about the CL.It’s started.

It's funny I noted that the thread did seem to go into overdrive since the middle of last week.I woke up this morning and realised that this thread was catching the rags one up in terms of pages. Then I thought fuck it, I am still going to post what a load of objectionable pricks they are.
Obviously despite Hillsborough I have a fair few memories of Forest, both good and bad (but only ever from a footballing POV.Thank you for the warm and generous welcome, now I am pushing it by posting again.
No particular order things we hate about Liverpool players:
John Aldridge for ruffling Brian Laws hair after they scored in the replay of Hillsborough, what a and still is a turd.
Sourness( chocolate biscuit ) one match at the City Ground grabbed John Mc Govern by the throat, because JM had nicked the ball off him all night. He made sure Kenny Burns was nowhere near….Kenny got him later.
Thompson who still complains about our penalty in in League cup replay, we all know it was outside the box, who gives a f… we beat you.
Dalglisch moaning at the end of the European cup tie when we made it 2-0.
Their fans who seem to forget we were at Hillsborough and have eradicated Heysel from their memories, cost us more European memories as well as many others.
Coming back from the Ajax tie four of us stopped at a bar in Bruges, the owner at first thought we were Liverpool fans and wouldn’t let us in. His bar had been trashed twice by them, when he saw the Forest scarves we got in and had a great hour and a bit with him.
We as fans were certainly not angels at home( in fact the opposite on many occasions) but we never caused any trouble abroad. Even managed to teach the Real Madrid fans how to pronounce wanker properly so they could chant with us at Keegan.
A lot of history unfortunately, just the cup this year as a recent memory when we could not get over how plastic their fans had become.
Enough of my ramblings, like you lot I love my club it has provided me with so much joy over the 58 years I have been going and a lot more heartache before and after BC. I have told my wife not to talk to me until after the play offs second leg and if we get to the final not until after then, the nerves do not make for good communication.
if you get a chance have a look at the thread on our forum about the demise of Wayne Rooneys D…. C….. it is comedy gold. Even have a go at getting on the list!
Fingers and everything crossed that we will see you at the WFCG next season( in the PL)it is a brilliant stadium to watch football in and the atmosphere this season has been one of the best I have ever known. We have a group of fans called the Forza Garibaldi who do brilliant displays.
Wishing Villa all the best for tonight and you all for the rest of the season.
Well the title isn't done yet and us fans, Pep, and the players won't be stupid enough to think it is. But you make an interesting point. Liverpool are in a situation now where it might be best to prioritise the 2 cups as 2 wins in those 2 games leaves them with an impressive haul of 3 trophies this season, whereas 3 wins in their last 3 league games may well not be enough to win them the league. They could end up trying to still go balls out for the quadruple and end up with just the League Cup if they pick up a couple of injuries to key players that puts them out of the finals. No way villa getting anything here :-(
Be interesting to see if the nerves are getting to Liverpool.
players may think I’m not missing fa cup & champs league picking up an injury for the league which is in city’s hands.
the league is not liverpools priority since our win over Newcastle. Their focus will be cup games however villa & gerrard are shit

Once again, I'm not sure it is the general attitude of most supporters but think so much is fanned by the media.

First Eurpean night (As of course for the benefit of those on this board, we are European Royalty) I went to was the 0-0 v Forest.
First trip to Wembley was the 0-0 in the League Cup Final...Not such a good start...and being shocked at the state of the stadium, the concourses totally flooded!
A good mate at University from Nottingham took me to a game and stood in the Trent End and a great night out in the city was had by all.
And then the league game at Anfield after the semi and finally the one good result really in the meetings i had witnessed the 5-0.
Certainly from my POV, much respect for Forest
Yeah it was.
My foster family attended both hillsborough and the replay at the swamp. They felt like they were not going to be allowed to win it and Aldridge doing that after Laws scored on OG pretty much confirmed it.
Was the laws/Aldridge hair ruffle in the semi that was rearranged after hillsborough ?
yeah, but I fucking don't!Tbf it’s a bit like some of us pretending we don’t give a fuck about the CL.
